At FLPC we offer a special time once a week for moms to get together. Caring For Both with TLC is a group led by two of our volunteers, Margaret Montgomery and Ina Whatley.
The group meets on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Door of Hope Building, 112 South Curry Street. The meeting is held upstairs.
This is a time for moms to get together to have fun, make friends, enjoy doing crafts (scrap booking, quilting, etc.), share about your children and have some tasty snacks. It is also a time to learn about a variety of topics to help with raising your child and being the best parent you can be. Some of those topics are: nutrition for your child, parenting skills, books to read to your child, age appropriate toys and what God thinks about you and your child.
